While working as in intern in school, I developed an unmanned vehicle simulator to assist company clients in survey planning. The project’s core was developed around the open source MASON framework and deployed with Apache Tomcat.

The backend included complex statistical analysis to determine spatial coverage of various unmanned systems and likelihood of true positives, false positives, etc. for a customer’s sensor measurements. UXV-Sim also includes a web front end, which allowed for end-users to speed-up, slow down, pause, or even revert to time-frame in the simulation.
